Conference systems

Professional communication for conferences and business events.

ANM Audio Visuals delivers complete conference systems for congresses, conferences, meetings, panel discussions and international events — from microphone units and audio distribution through links to simultaneous interpretation, video production and streaming.

We plan the system around attendance, room layout, how the discussion is chaired and the programme’s technical requirements.

Conference microphone system in a hall

A complete conference communication system

A conference system is more than a microphone on the table. Speakers, delegates, the moderator, the audio system, simultaneous interpretation, video production and remote participants must work as one technical whole.

  1. 01

    Speaker / delegate

The participant speaks through a conference microphone unit.

  2. 02

    Conference system

Control of microphones, speaking priorities and discussion flow.

  3. 03

    Audio distribution

The signal is fed to the PA and other technical systems.

  4. 04

    Interpretation and video

When needed, the signal is routed to simultaneous interpretation, video production and streaming.

  5. 05

    Audience and remote participants

Clear speech reaches participants in the room and remotely.

Integrating the conference system with multilingual audio channels.

  • Video and streaming

Feeding the speech signal to video production, recording and online platforms.

  • Technical support

Installation, testing, monitoring and technical support during the programme.

A system shaped to the event format

  • Conferences and congresses

Conference systems for larger speaker counts, panels and programme sessions.

  • Panel discussions

  • Business meetings

Discreet, professional conference communication for boardrooms and business formats.

Conference systems and simultaneous interpretation

At international events the conference system and simultaneous interpretation work as one connected system.

The speaker signal is fed to interpreters, interpreted audio is distributed to participants on the matching language channels, and the original feed stays available to the PA, video production and streaming.

ANM plans the full signal path so every event system works as one technical whole.

Frequently asked questions

How many conference microphones does an event need?

It depends on room layout, how many people will speak and how the discussion is chaired. After the basic event details we propose a matching configuration — without a fixed unit count up front.

Does every participant need their own microphone?

Not always. Panels and smaller meetings often need fewer active units; congresses and boardrooms with more speakers need more delegate seats.

Can the moderator control participant microphones?

Yes. Conference systems support chair priority and discussion control according to the agreed programme format.

Can the conference system link to simultaneous interpretation?

Yes. We feed the speaker signal into the simultaneous-interpretation system and distribute language channels to participants — as part of one technical plan for the event.

Can the system connect to Zoom, Teams and other online platforms?

Yes, when the event format and platform support it. We plan audio routing, monitoring and tests before the programme starts.

Can the conference be recorded or streamed live?

Yes. We can feed the conference-system speech signal to recording, video production and live streaming when that is part of the agreed technical plan.

Does an ANM technician stay for the whole event?

When the event configuration requires it, the technical team monitors the system and programme throughout delivery.
